Just wondered if you produce a reflective type coat that I could get a sun worshipping lurcher to wear? Not sure how it would work as it's really his belly that needs covering up cos there's not much fur and he's already got a tan there (and on his head) this year! Any suggestions would be welcome - thanks!

Unfortunately, we don't do the reflective fabric anymore due to the cost and having to buy in a whole roll at a time, however, may I suggest you use a high prtection rated sun block? Factor 30, perhaps? I used to have a pony with a pink nose and eye lids, and had to use sun block on her, else she blistered badly with sunburn. Perhaps your vet could advise you?

Thanks for your replies. I have used sun block before on other animals, but the trouble with Mace is that his fur is so thin everywhere (except for a strip along his back), that I'd have to coat him in it. I think I might just try and make up a very thin version of his pjs (god knows what he'll end up looking like - don't think I'd better let him out of the garden in this creation!). ;D He is such a sun worshipper, I've tried to keep him in the shade, but it's impossible. Even indoors he follows the patches of sunshine around throughout the day! Thanks again!
