Hi all, just joined after spending a couple of hours looking at all the animal photos. I know I have seen a thread somewhere - but now cannot find it - explaining how to become a rescue rep and the benefits. Can someone fill me in. What are wildcats and wolves??? Thanks

Hi Ali Welcome to the board. Th Wolves and the Wonderful Wildcats are the two teams on the board which compete in a friendly manner against each other to win prizes for rescues. Would you like to join a team

If you take a look in the Staff Room, you will find a disussion forum there especially for Rescue Reps, and there is some info there which will help you onto the right track. You can also give details of the rescue you represent in the Rescue forums, post any news about them, a Wish List, details of their homing policy and animals looking for homes. Feel free to nominate them when opportunities arise, for projects, quizzes competitions etc. If you are in touch online with other supporters of the rescue, perhaps ask them to support too in things here and consider treating ther pets in the various sales, as that is how we fund things like prizes for rescues and parcel donations. Any questions, just post and I am sure other RRs will help with answers. Rescues here tend to benefit in proportion to whatever effort their supporters and reps put in, though, so keeping up to date with visits and posts works much better than simply posting details and then disappearing for months on end, as sometimes happens. New members often choose to support a rescue they see mentioned frequently and that is active.
