Regarding blankets, the machines that we use to do the edging on these are broken and awaiting repair, so the only ones we have are those in the sale thread. There won't be anymore until the machines are repaired and back in action, sorry.

Jutta, the standard double-ended lead is very similar to the one pictured, but doesn't have a ring near the one clip.

The coats and blankets sound good. Could we incorporate all the Wolves items in the one big 'advert' as otherwise I think it's going to confuse everyone. Label for all to be the same other than title of goods of course!

Can you please not have blankets, for the reason above, and also because I'm likely going to have to use what we have left for the requests for those in the 'Wish List' Project. However, new in today, were some rather nice, thick, quilted, velveteen striped fabric pieces that would be ideal for bed/crate mats/doggy duvets. I've bound a few pieces around the edges already, but have yet to get them measured asnd packed. (It's been a frantically busy day!) How about those instead of blankets?

Could use some of the 1" ones for headcollars for horses, and I have fittings for those, but how many could we sell? Also, not sure if we could compete with cheap imports of these. Al would it be possible to make them slightly different from the 'common' headcollars ............... perhaps with fleece or some form of padding on the noseband, behind the ears, etc .... Not easy to get comfy headcollars and so that might be their selling point

That's not a bad idea, Sheena. I'll have a play around as soon as I get the chance (and can find the headcollar fittings ) - I need to make a new one for Bronnie, as she's outgrown hers, which Daisy now has, and is borrowing an old one of Merlyn's which is really too big! BTW, I meant to ask you if your goats ever wear raincoats? (Don't anyone laugh, but some goats really hate the rain!) ;D Teams, I have managed to get some fittings for that thicker, 5/8" web, and have started to make up some small pet sized haresses, collars and leads, and also doubble-ended leads suitable for small dogs. I'll list those in your challenge sale thread shortly. As the Wolves haven't yet told me what other two items they want, if they don't confirm by tonight, I'll be making the decision for them!

BTW, I meant to ask you if your goats ever wear raincoats? (Don't anyone laugh, but some goats really hate the rain!) ;D Jaysus Al .... I nearly choked on my biscuit Indeed goats do HATE rain, cold, etc but they have a big 12x12 field shelter/stable so I haven't ever had to contemplate putting coats on them I could just see the faces of the local farmers (who already think I'm a couple of screws short) if they saw my goats wearing coats Sheena

The photos are great, Sheena Sorry, haven't managed to get on the internet since Friday! As blankets are out of the question, what about the whippet and greyhound coats plus the special offer greyhound collars?

Okay to greyhound and whippet coats, but the Wildcats claimed all the decorative collars... although they have yet to sell any. ;D I started to make more whippet coats, but will do some greyhound ones as well. When you decide finally what you want, please move them from the clearance sale thread into your team's section of the Apprentice Challenge Sale... ;D - call it a penalty for indecisiveness. BTW, I have a string of various appointments this week, so won't be around as much as usual until the evenings.

Hey, wolves - would you mind helping me out here? I have no idea what would sell well as the TRPD items I bought years ago are still going strong and are used daily! Please decide what we should add to our wolves team sales products!

Jutta, why not use the 'email all' facility and ask, whilst also telling them what wonderful bargains are available in the sales? That is the trouble with much of our things - they last too long! I've made coats for my various dogs and that have lasted all their lives, then still been perfectly useable, so passed on to rescues. I still have leads here in daily use that we had for dogs that passed over the bridge in the 1990s! Some of the horse's tack was made during the 1970s, and is still in use too.

The collar and lead sets have been mentioned!
Why are we adding everything from the flash and grab to our current challenge, btw? I don't quite understand? (and have been asked that by the team, too)

This is just to segregate the items to amke it easier to total things up, and because the prizes for this will mean these sale can't count towards the June Sales challenge, Jutta.

Regarding decision making not being your strong point, the good thing about this apprentice challenge, is that it provides a reason for members to work on their weaker points, as well as to recognise those. ;D Also, to be inventive, and draw upon one's talents and act upon one's initiative. Grasp opportunities, too.

OK then - lets take the collar and lead sets!! (I still don't quite understand the reasoning, but never mind ) (somehow I'm feeling like a lone wolf again - where are you, dray, Jazz, Viv ??)
