We have an urgent request for transport if anyone is able to help us please.
We need to move Tyler, a 9 year old GSD, from St Helens, Merseyside, WA11 to his new foster home in Lenton, near Grantham, NG33. We realise that this is very short notice, but we need to move him on Friday afternoon if possible please, 5th June.
The AA route given is M6, M62, (passing by Manchester, Rochdale, Huddersfield) then down the A1 to Grantham. We need Tyler to reach his foster home at 5pm or later, alternatively his foster mum could meet up with the last transporter in Nottingham at 4pm ish.
Tyler gets quite excited in the car so will need to be restrained either in a crate or behind a dog guard. Further details on Tyler are here
He's legally owned by Oldies Club and we have full liability insurance in place. We ask that volunteers contact their own motor insurers to advise that they are transporting dogs on a voluntary basis for rescue. There should be no charge for this, but please let us know if there is and we can reimburse you.
Tyler is quite lively so you would need to have a secure dog guard in place.
If you are able to help could you please advise where you would like to meet up either side of your journey.
Thanks Michelle Oldies Club x

Please can anyone pick up from there and take to Nottingham for 4pm ish. Or link in with a transporter to take to Grantham later on.

We're starting to get quotes for pet taxi services cos we can't leave our lad stranded. As soon as I know for sure I'll update.
