This link: Martin's Money Saving/High Street Savings will show you where the most up to date offers are. Do you know that many High Street store managers also have the ability to give a discretionary discount? It can be well worth asking to speak to a manager if there is something you really like and want, but don't like the price. 10% off a new cooker or washing machine is worth having, but when they can afford up to 50% or even 70% off many things, it's worth trying for a bit more. They have sales targets to reach, and it is a buyer's market. If you get a good deal, why not post details here, so others can try the same stores? Currys is one I know of where the managers can, if they choose, give discounts.
