The intention of this forum is to enable rescue organisations, and/or those representing them, to publicise their work and let others who may be able to help know their needs. Other members are welcome to join in and reply to posts, but please allow the original threads to be only those posted by rescues and their representatives. Thanks. Alison [/b] Note: In order that any items won in the quizzes by members can be forwarded to the rescue of their choice we will need to have a record of the full postal address of the rescue. Please provide this information in an email to: dogcraftproject@trpd.freeserve.co.uk. This will enable us to update our records. Thank You. IT WOULD ALSO BE HELPFUL IF YOU COULD INCLUDE A NOTE OF WHICH ANIMALS YOU DEAL WITH, Thank You

Alison, As you know I am currently trying to draw up a list of items that would be useful to rescues. I've had some feedback from quite a few so far on what they want/need. Would you have any objections if I posted on here, on behalf of the individual rescues?

Welcome aboard, Jackie - and I've no objections whatsoever. (How could I have?) LOL The more details such as you are gathering together, the better able we'll all be to spread the word and try to mobilise people to be able to ease pressure on rescue organisations and fullfil a few of their 'Wish Lists'. OK, I think the best approach would be for me to post the wish lists that have been sent in by the rescues. Then anyone who wants to help an individual rescue, or lives locally can see what items would be most useful to them. I will eventually (I hope) be able to compile a general list of items suitable for all rescues, which I will then post in this forum.

I think it's a great idea to have a thread for each individual rescue in this way, Jackie. If any of them then think of something missed off their wish list they'll be add it to their thread. It will also give members viewing the forum a chance to see just which rescues are represented here.
Have you let them all know where they can view their lists on here? If not, it may be an idea to do so. That way if anyone posts a specific question for that rescue they'll be able to answer directly or PM for things like directions or arrangement for delivery of something too heavy for the post.

OK, I've now added a thread for each of the rescues that have responded so far with their wish lists. I've also sent them all a link to this forum so they can check I've got their details correct and let me know if they have any amendments they want me to make. I'll add any more as and when I get some feedback on what they can use.
