Hi,
Firstly, I want to say a huge thank you for the "i need a home" webbing items that were sent to Mill Rescue. They are excellent for getting the rescue dogs noticed and are now in use at the main kennels and in our wonderful foster homes.
Mill Rescue is based in Lincolnshire and takes mainly small-medium sized dogs of many different breeds particularly terrier, collie and spaniel types. They also take on special cases such as those needing extensive vet treatment, oldies, pregnant bitches, nursing mothers with litters and breeds that some rescue turn away such as lurchers as and when they are able to.
Hello to MR supporters who have joined TRPD recently, I know it can seem confusing at first but you do get 'into the groove' really quickly! MR supporters, volunteers and well wishers can now reply to this thread with further items that the rescue would benefit from.
I'll start the *wishes* off here !
Mill Rescue use rescue posters in their region to raise awareness of dogs in their care that are up for adoption for this they wish for ...
A4 paper (plain white or a light pastel/cream colour)
Envelopes (up to C5 which is the largest size for normal stamps)
Stamps (all are useful)
We would also be grateful for any doggie items to raffle off, or sell to raise funds. Examples of how these would typically be used would be to allow us to take specific needy dogs into our care and may also be used for vaccinations, flea treatment, wormers, microchipping and neutering as all dogs in our care are homed having had this carried out (except where age or vetinary advice is against this). Also, for purchasing food, bedding and cleaning products.
