Springwatch is soon back on BBC Two, kicking off with three one-hour specials at 8pm on 17, 18 and 19 May. Three weeks of live wildlife drama start on Monday, 31 May. Saving Species, from the Open University and BBC Natural History Unit, airs on Radio 4 at 11am every Tuesday. You can contribute to ispot.org.uk and upload images or ask questions about biodiversity. Do One Thing - Sow some wildflower seeds There are lots of easy ways to make an outside space into a magnet for wildlife. Why not sow some wildflower seeds in your garden, a pot or a window box to create a mini meadow? In long grass try ox-eye daisy, corncockle and field poppy. Primrose, violet and speedwell are happy in shorter grass. Breathing Places has a Sow Some Wildflowers pocket guide.
