This is a private rehoming unless a rescue could step in and assist, although this dog is not under threat. Sandy is a lovely, friendly, good with kids/other dogs, golden Labrador bitch, who needs a new home where someone can give her the level of attention and exercise that she needs. She is very energentic, and her owner's shift work situation simply makes her feel that, regretfully, she cannot do justice to Sandy. Sandy is in South Wales, and anyone interested in being put in touch with her owner, please PM me with your phone number, which I would pass on to her lady owner, so that both parties may be put in direct contact. (Please note: Due to varying hours of shift work, it would be best for the owner to make contact with any prospective owner, rather than have her sleep disturbed by others phoning her, but feel free to state suitable hours she can ring.)

Thanks for the offer, although Sandy has not been at risk at all, so a foster home wasn't needed. I was just about to update this thread to say that, thanks to Jazz, who did a home-check for a farmer who already has three labs, and was seeking another - but a goldie this time, Sandy will be going to her new home next Wednesday. Thanks for your help with this rehoming, Alicia. It sounds a wonderful new home, where Sandy should soon settle down and get lots of attention and exercise.
