Lola is only about six months old, and a high energy lurcher bitch who urgently needs a place in rescue/foster home or new permanent home with someone who understands lurchers.
She is currently situated in S. Wales, has a lovely nature with people, and no known health issues.
Lola's situation is simply that the owner cannot cope with this type of dog and has bitten off more than she can chew. The owner lives on a busy road and has had a few scares, as Lola dashes out of the front door at any opportunity and onto the road outside. They are now terrified that Lola will cause an accident and be injured or even killed.
They have decided that it is in their own and Lola's best interests that she is homed with someone with time and more experience, and who understands the needs of a young lurcher such as Lola.
The situation is quite urgent from the perspective that Lola could very easily be homed into the wrong hands in the area - e.g. a rough, working dog's life, destined to live out her days in a garden shed. (Not something her owner wants, therefore keen to find her a place where any future home will be thoroughly checked etc.)
If anyone can help, please PM me for a contact phone number. Thanks.

Probably got a space for her in Devon. But the run is tomorrow morning. Any chance that she could be got to the M4 in the morning? She'll have to go into kennels but will probably get a home very quickly.

Wendy, I have PM'd you the contact phone number for Lola. (My time clock is all to pot, so I probably won't wake in time to organise anything myself. Fingers crossed something can be arranged.
