Someone on another forum is trying to locate the words to a poem and is having very little luck, I was wondering if anyone could help, this is her reqquest.
My late Mum used to recite a poem (in Yorkshire dialect) along the lines of ..........
Its rainin’ again I dey declare, Three days wet and ya day fair. Sike a load of mowdy hay, Tatties rottin’ all away, Times like these, A’ve never seen, Farmers’ll be beggard clean
Now this isn't in "Yorkshire" as Mum used to say it and I don't know if I'm remembering it quite right. There may be more.
I've hunted on the internet and spoken to people who to party pieces of Yorkshire stuff and no one seems to have heard of it.
Can anyone help ............. please

Thanks Nikki I've done the internet search as well Viv and can't find anything, we aren't 100% certain it is a Yorkshier poem and it could have been taught to this ladies Mum in her schooldays. I did a search for tatties and kept coming up with scottish poems but nothing like this one.
Thanks for trying everyone, hopefully we'll find it between us.
