This is a link to an article about the Woodland Trust's 'National Forest', being created in the heart of England... 'The National Forest is a forest in the making: an area of 200 square miles, spanning three counties, in the heart of England. Already more than 5 million trees have been planted and another 25 million will follow, transforming a region that was once dominated by coal mining and mineral workings. The vision is to create a rich mosaic of land uses for the benefit of walkers, cyclists, riders and picnickers alike.'www.woodland-trust.org.uk/broadleaf/index.htmAl

I found this site useful when preparing to go to Oxwich Bay to join a bunch of other fosterers and dog walkers.....unfortunately I never made it, as our foster bitch came into season - typical. I still have never been to Oxwich Bay and it sounds lovely. One day... www.walkingwithdogs.co.uk/walks.html
