This thread is for you to recommend breed sites to other members. For example, bull-breed chatter forums, lurcher groups, etc. Please note, sites whose primary aim is breed rescue should be posted in the 'Animal Rescue sites' thread, rather than here ;D And a reminder that links to breeders are not permitted.

Sighthounds Online"Sighthounds Online is a group of like minded people who have, have had, love sighthounds or are involved with sighthound rescue. We come together to discuss sighthounds and assist rescues by having areas for homeless sighthounds and we also carry out fundraising for rescues. We are wholly opposed to the abuse and mistreatment of sighthounds and the use of sighthounds for hunting and racing." Sighthounds cover Greyhounds, Galgos, Lurchers, Salukis, Deerhounds and Whippets, just to name a few! www.sighthoundsonline.org.ukwww.sighthoundsonline.co.uk

It's A Spring Thing, the website dedicated to all things Springer Spaniel This really is a great site and has given me lots of help and advice with Ollie my rescue springer x. From the website: 'We are here to help you through every stage of your love affair with Springer Spaniels, from the 8 week old puppy you bring home, to the rescue Springer that may have problems, You don't even need to own a Springer to be made welcome, the only stipulation is a love of the breed. We have a Springer shop, for everything you may need for you and your Springer. And we have a forum so that you can chat about Springer's with people from all over the world' They also have a receipe section which have some great recommendations www.itsaspringthing.co.ukspringthing.3.forumer.com

Greyhound Gap is an independant non profit making Organisation, who specialise in the rescue and rehabilitation of death row greyhounds and lurchers. All of the dogs that are taken into our care receive a thorough assessment in a foster home environment, although occasionally we do have cause for dog's to spend sometime in kennel situations. As well as Rescuing, Rehabilitating and Rehoming our own dogs, we also act as independant, freelance volunteers for around 30 plus of the UK's Sighthound rescue's and aid them in anyway we can, including getting dog's to safety on their behalf, homecheck's, follow up check's and transportation. We do also hold online fundraiser's for both ourselves and the other organisations we deal with. Greyhound Gap's Main Website can be viewed at www.greyhoundgap.com and our Online Forum can be accessed via greyhoundgap.proboards35.comYou never know when help will be needed in your immediate area, and it may be something you can help with to bridge the Gap. Even if you are not a regular contributor to the site we welcome you to register. Most of our urgent appeals are placed via the mass email facility we have access to. Should we require urgent assistance for a death row dog a plea will be sent immediatly to every members email box

Just to let everyone know that I have moved the saluki and Pyrenean board, in fact I have split it and moved it to a different provider. It looks great! So if you love salukis or saluki crosses, go to www.salukisandco.co.ukIf you love Pyrenean Mountain Dogs, go to www.proudpyreneans.co.uk

This is the link to a fairly new forum for those interested in Cavalier King Charles Spaniels - you don't have to currently be owned by one! www.ckcschat.co.uk/There is a section for Cavaliers in rescue, also a for sale/wanted section. The moderators encourage discussion about health issues etc - sadly this isn't always the case with other Cavalier forums Sorry this forum has closed down
