The aims:
Fun
Light-hearted Entertainment
To support and benefit animal rescue charities and organisations.
Participation
Everyone is welcome to play!
All you need to do is join a team (either the Wolves or the Wildcats) and post on the relevant team thread your wish to join that team.
There is no entry fee.
It's not compulsory to join a team either just state that you are playing as an 'individual' in your entry emails or when posting answers up on the board!
Prizes
We aim each week to have 10 prizes which will go to the rescue nominated by the person winning each prize. These prizes will be made up from donations members may wish to make, they can be anything i.e a tennis ball , second hand collars, leads, anything that would be of use to a rescue. Or alternatively you can purchase something from the Pet Craft project to be donated as a prize.
Please note that when pledging a prize it is a matter of honour, and it is the responsibility of the donor to ensure the prize is sent to the rescue (although in the case of prizes donated by purchase of goods from Pet Craft Project these prizes will be sent directly from the PCP)
The Quiz Format
The quiz will take place weekly and the Wolves and Wildcats will take it in turns each week to organise the quiz.
There will be a total of 10 questions, 5 of which will be posted as ‘quick fire’ questions during the week (could be any night of the week so keep checking!) These questions will be posted in the relevant thread in the 'Quizzes and Competitions' section of the TRPD board and members will need to post their answer to the these 'quick fire' questions in the relevant thread. The first person to post the correct answer on the board stating the team they are playing for and their nominated rescue will win the prize up for grabs!
The final 5 questions will be posted on the board on Sunday evenings at approx 8.30 p.m. All answers for this section of the quiz will need to be sent to the relevant adjudicator on the night by email, stating the team played for and the rescue nominated by 9.00 p.m. when the results will then be posted.
Each correct answer will be awarded one point for the team, therefore the winning team of the week will be the one with the most points !!!!
The results will be kept account of and the Team with the most points at the end of every month will win a further prize to be donated by the Pet Craft Project for their nominated rescue. (All points will revert to 0 at the end of the month)
A further prize at the end of the year will be awarded to the Team with the most points for the year!
