the proceeds are again going to pat dogs and this years rescue is going to be tail ends who will take exactly half the proceeds. this year there is a website (yay) and more retail stands. if any rescues will be there.if anyone would like a stand please contact tash who will sort you out AND a rescue parade for all the dogs needing new homes will occur in the main ring. last year the retired greyhound trust (who are coming back this year) rehomed a lovely ex-racer but had no takers on the pup (nosey his name was) funny how things go. the site is www.whamshow.co.uk you will see there are 2 rings marked out in red and blue rope - my ring as a judge was red ring and this year instead of judging i will be holding a fun intro to obedience. ppl are invited to join me in the ring and we will be doing some games thta makes competitive obedience fun (and of course it wont all go to plan ) hope to see you guys there you cant miss me with my spotties lol

Many Thanks Gemma for posting this: WHAM or Woofers Hounds and Mutts is a fun dog show on Sunday 27th May in Essex, which we have organised to raise much needed funds for Tailends and Pets As Therapy and to teach the public about responsible dog ownership. We are inviting any rescue to come along and take a stand/pitch free of charge to generate awareness and funds for their own rescues/charities too. There are opportunities to sponsors the classes and to name them, we will also include exhibitors and sponsors details on our website with hyperlinks. Gemma is going to do a fab job in the arena for us and we also have Siberian Husky rescue doing a display showing us what Sibes were originally bred for. Anyone who would like further info can contact me on natalie@whamshow.co.uk www.whamshow.co.uk/PS: I will get a link to TRPD on the site too under links

been a slight change of plan regarding my 'bit' instead of obedience we will be doing some agility and showcasing dal rescue and that deaf dogs are just as capable.
my poor dal star has picked up a horrible injury on her paw and needed surgery and stitchs and its taking its time to heal. obviously all training for star has been put on hold but twiglet is still rearing to go.
fingers crossed star is all fixed up as she has been learning some new tricks especially for the show if she isnt well enough to go in the ring i'm sure she will be just as happy sat with her dad eating sausages (just like last year!!)
