Post your winter photos here if you would like to have them considered for the 2007 group calendars. Those selected as each of the four seasonal winners by the various groups will receive a complimentary calendar for 2007 and during NEXT December but runners up will also have the pleasure of seeing their photos also in print and with all profits from the sale of calendars used towards aiding animals. Photos MUST be your own, original work and not entered in previous competitions on the TRPD - PCP board.

Well I posted it in pet chat - but it hasn't been entered in a competition elsewhere on the board!

Do you want pictures for all the calendars Al?

Yes, please, Margaret, although not sure yet which groups will want calendars next year. The Ramblers and the W & W Project were really please with theirs and aim to enlist our members' help for the next; the gardeners are still working on theirs - could be that will end up for 2007 at this rate. Could be other groups will look to us as well? The writers group were discussing having a booklet produced with writing exercises in that are inspired by photos. More on that when I know more, but we may make a separate competition relating to that, as there was some talk of them sponsoring prizes for rescues in return.

Walking across the south downs. ive had to scan it into the computer so its not as clear as original. Micky wasen't on a lead, he's so close to my side that it looks as if he was! dont know if this is any good, but its a nice cosy winter shot. again scanned in, original better quality.

Meeting with a friend and her 3 dogs (all of the dogs have "TRPD-gear" and are already 'featured' in the "show your photos here"-threads) when I was in Luebeck this weekend. We went for a long walk at the sea in Travemuende - snow on the beach, ice just in front of the water and fog. It was a really strange, but great athmosphere! This is "Fritzi", a (female) Collie-cross from Ireland.

After I told my friend that I put this photo up here, she sent me some more of her dogs from last winter... (A few of my friends from 'back home' really like this forum, but don't dare becoming members themselves due to their perceived lack of the English lingo... Shame! But some of the prizes I have put on the virtual prize box were given by them anyway) Here's Fritzi again - as a tiny one: and here's Spike, the boy and Josy, also from Ireland

Great pictures love that one of the snow on the beach, very atmospheric and you can almost feel the 'strange atmosphere' a kind of spooky unspoken calmness.

I told them they don't need to be shy as it's so nice and friendly here - and if they're really unsure about the language they can always ask me to 'translate' first. I'm hoping at least one will join!
