Remember when we couldn't do our homeword, I am sure we can all relate to this The first few paragraphs: Three o'clock, Monday morning and I've hardly slept a wink since Thursday night. That’s three nights spent tossing and turning and two whole days fretting, sweating and panicking and all because of that impossible homework Mrs. Jones set us last Friday afternoon. I'm sure it would test the very best Mensa mind, never mind a class of nine-year-olds. Whatever's happening to the educational system? Have those wretched OFSTED inspectors finally pushed our teachers over the edge? Is it down to the government changes? Perhaps this is another product of some lunatic bureaucratic think-tank that only seems to think up problems for other people to solve because they can't think of solutions for themselves? Whatever it is, it’s not on. I don't see why kids our age should have to put up with it. ‘Research some real person who did change the world's future,’ said Mrs. Jones, triggering a ball rolling around inside my brain and nearly driving me crazy trying to figure out what on earth she meant. Doesn't she realise things like this could cause mass stress throughout the younger generation? Now, that really could interfere with the potential survival of the world and influence the direction of society but as for changing the world's future...?
