Could any of you who walk your dogs in the Ashurst area of the New Forest (postcode SO40), please keep your eyes peeled for Meg. Link to DogLost PosterMeg, formerly called Magic, is a Gap dog and needs to be found quickly, particularly as she was wearing a muzzle when she disappeared. Jackie

I do hope that Meg is found soon, Jackie. It's the most awful thing to lose a dog in this way. Please keep this thread updated if there's any news. Wish I was nearer and able to help... Will be sending thoughts for a speedy and positive outcome. Thanks for posting here.

Still no news on Meg. There have been loads of folks out searching for her over the weekend with Lisa and Trish doing the round trip from Stoke down to the New Forest to join in the search. If anyone is in the local area, or has first hand knowledge of the locality and can come up with any suggestions as to who to contact it would be appreciated. Think most obvious people have been identified, but it never does any harm to try and flood the area with leaflets, posters etc. Thanks Jackie

I am heartbroken to have to say that Meg's body has now been recovered. I have no further details at the moment. Jackie x

Run free, Meg.
