We make those, and you just need to tell me the colour and width of webbing needed along with the overall length required. We also make escape-proof harnesses, which are based on the trail harness design and have an extra strap that fits around the belly, so that if the dog attempts to pull backwards to rid itself of the harness, that strap will hold against the ribcage and stop the dog escaping. I used one on my little Kira all her life, and she was the original prompt to design one! She could get out of anything except that - and did! They have to be made to measure, and besides the chest and belly circumferences, I will also need to know the length from between the shoulder blades and along the spine to a point above the narrowest part of the waist. These harnesses are not suitable as escape-proof ones for dogs without a well defined waistline, though. Ideal for sighthounds and other breeds of a similar shape - eg. setters etc.

None in the auction, but there's one showing iun tghe gallery and modelled by my little Kira, now over the bridge, bless her. These do need to be made to measure, though, and for specific dogs, so that the rear belt fits correctly behind the ribcage.

Won't tell you how long it took me to find the gallery Anyway is it possible for a padded greyhound harness that is escape proof ? (webbing straps padded ?)

The comfort web is what these are usually make from, and that is quite thick and soft to begin with. It's not really possible to make up our padded chest style in an escape-proof version. That because the D ring on those sits closer to the dog's shoulderblades. I've used the escape-proof trail harness over nearly nine years with Kira though, not in a comfort web, but just the standard webbing, and it never seemed to rub her or cause discomfort. BTW, I've created a new sub-forum for queries and 'make-related' matters, hence will move this thread there. petcraftproject.proboards24.com/index.cgi?board=makers
