Hello everyone, I came on to the forum under the name of Mysticalmidnight. This was the name of a foal that i broke in (trained) in my younger days. I also used that name to see if i could get away without Viv suspecting it was me. Viv who is a mate from other forums introduced me to this wonderful forum full of caring sharing people. We share the same soft spot for the Bull Terrier Breed. I have decided to change my name and therefore shorten it to Dray. I just hope this was a wise move. ;D I will be able to post all my lovely pictures now that I'm out of the closet ;D Speak to you again soon

Name changes are common here - especially when a certain Wolf is around. I can't remember what I stated out as... just watch out your 'Dray' doesn't get 'horse' added to it now. ;D
Nice to have another horsy person around... Want to buy a saddle? ;D
Only joking, but I seem to have 6 saddles around, and only three nags, one of which is not yet broken to ride, as only rising three, another more or less retired as 23 years and few brave enough to ride the old rogue. The third is my grandson's little 11.1hh lead-rein pony mare, and rising 7 years.
Tried to sell the shaman a really good (almost like new) secondhand saddle earlier, and for just £70... Gee, he's still as tight fisted as ever!

Unfortunately I do not own any at present, i used to have three at one stage when i was younger and lived with my parents. The foal was off a mare we had first, i was too young to understand about having them done and my Mum and Dad were too inexperienced, still it produced a lovely cross between a welsh mountain pony and a stunning cob. Midnight is still alive today and he was 24 on Dec 24th 2008. Our daughter Mackenzie has been riding since she was three and we would love to get a bigger place so that i could once again share my life with such a wonderful creature. Mackenzie will be seven in March 2009 so when you have finished with the pony

As you do so much for Bulliesos, I think first you should become a rescue rep, playing the quizzes on there behalf (which you already do), and passing on details of any fund rasiing events or news. What do you recon Al

My grandson is three, but will be four in just over a fortnight,so by the time he's outgrown his Welsh Mountain pony, Daisy, I would imagine that your daughter will need a bigger, more active pony?
Bronnie - rising 3 now - is bigger, and has a quite stocky/cobby build, but the plan is to break her as a ride and drive pony in due course, and for me to drive her. She's about 12.2hh now, but her quarters are higher than her withers still, so she should grow a bit more.

Hi Al, I was only joking, until we had a suitable home for a horse we would not be stupid enough to venture in to all that, the one thing i do know is they are a lot of hard work and you need to be very dedicated and with 6 Bull Terriers our spare time is in short supply. In the future we may consider livery but our wish is to buy a small holding with a couple of acre's of land and a kennel/stable block room for a few other farm animals and that would be my ambition completed. We are about 6 years away from my dream and Mackenzie would be 12 and of an age to understand and take on the responsibility of looking after a pony/horse full time. Mackenzie deffinetley has the dedication and the love for horses. We will wait and see.
