I'm more than happy with whatever everyone else decides. Just make sure that I know what I have to do, or if something involves me, and in simple terms, please. ;D (My brain is fried, I fear, and insomnia doesn't help! )

I'd like to nominate Southern Lurcher Rescue - they are taking in far more dogs at the moment and deserve some help.

Ok we have several good nominations, enough for March and April. So I am going to suggest that we have a rolling scheme. When a nominated rescue of the month reaches 100 tokens, a replacement rescue will be substituted. Each rescue will be on the challenge for a maximum of one month. The first rescues for March/April will be Pink Paws and Spirit of Freedom Trust. Followed by Happy Landings, Southern Lurcher Rescue and Springer Rescue for Scotland.

Can we still put forward nominations? If so, I would like to nominate Shak Rescue. This is a small rescue in Northumberland that takes in mainly the larger breeds such as GSDs and Rotties.

Always welcome to add nominations. Al sets the process most months by which nominations are considered.

I thought that was your responsibility now, Macabbie?
Being a border collie fan, please can I nominate Wiccaweys for a turn? Thanks.

Errrmmmmm, I though I only volunteered for March - April. When did Al slip that one past me ?
What I meant was that it depends on what fund-raising sale/auction is in process after April.
In that case Nik you should be buying this month (and adding your sales to the Indies) as we have a border collie rescue at the moment.

Er.. buying this month? Me? Haven't I just bought all the prizes for this week's quiz? Do all those count?

Al's under the impression that you came up with the idea and took it on. You are not alone though, wondering. Somehow I find myself having volunteered to install all the updates and programmes onto this new HD in the groups PC. If Neddy team's Nik's buys are to count for the Indies, she's bought and paid for fourteen assorted items - £50.

Good I'll add them to the total quick, well done Nik.
DMW, does that mean you get to look after the puppy at the same time ?

I just look at it, and it retreats into its den, and barks at me from the depths of the den. I'm bigger than it. Last JRT - and only one I've ever had - was called Nippy and a right little b'tard. Dropped dead chasing after some hikers it wanted to terrorise. ;D Never again.
At least this one Al's had dumped on her seems a friendly enough little thing to those it knows, if a bit of a live wire.

Errrmmmmm, I though I only volunteered for March - April. When did Al slip that one past me ? I didn't offer to be a team captain, it just appeared amongst the many other titles Al has added when the thought struck her. I would keep quiet and keep your head low if I was you, just in case Al thinks of something else you'd be good at

Whoever does the job, gets the title as their reward, Viv... Now what title do you think Dorian deserves for all his hard work? (Really must crawl back to my couch, so my title at present needs to be 'couch spud'... ) It seem this bug is responsible for hospitalising Veronica. (Roni.) It's a bit of a beast.
