I will post them out Monday if you let me have the address. Don't worry about the stamps, but a few seeds would be lovely. Karen.

The usual TRPD address (same as for sales) will reach me no problem, Karen, thanks. Will get the seeds sorted and you may as well have some stamps, too, to help with postage.

We have planted the mint in with the rampant Geraniums I got from you. They should fight each other well... I hope I'll remember to take a picture as soon as the Geraniums start flowering. The Irises (I think that's what they are?) I also got from you are growing well, too, in that "TRPD" patch. We also planted a yellow rose there in 2006 that the 'moneypennies' brought from home which is also growing like a weed. AND we thought we'd taken all the rhubarb out of that patch, but there's still some growing in between the strawberries (!!) and the sticky grass. That patch is fun! Looking forward to the next newsletter!!

I was sent this link for moey saving gardening ideas: www.thompson-morgan.com/info/gardening-ideas/money-saving-ideas.html Love the idea of smearing vaseline around the rims of plant pots to deter slugs. ;D Took a look at the aquilega seeds they have while there, some really unusual, stunning ones. Love the one with the yellow/bronze leaves.

Martin's in a phase I suppose all (new) gardeners go through - the "pallets are brilliant phase". Apparently (I have no idea about these things!) tomatoes need loads of water, but preferably not via rain over the leaves. Therefore, he's just built this "tomato house" in our garden (yes, in the garden, not the Dickerfield!): A couple of pallets (which one can pick up for nothing, of course), the plastic is from an old little "poly tunnel"-type thingy we got from Lidl years ago. Pallets are also useful in dog training! Slow (!) walking over a pallet can help improve a dog's coordination: (and of course this training aid can also cover up certain stains in the lawn... )

I would love a couple of fennel, please. It's lovely with fisg dishes, isn't it? I could swap for some muscari bulbs once they have finished flowering and died back a bit, as they can't be moved at the moment. Have some hardy geraniums that are tough as old boots, so could risk posting those, though.

It's a bit too late in the year now to transplant the crab apples, as those would be best moved in the autumn, and when dormant, but would love those then for the Llys Trerobert W & W Project. In the autumn, I should have a fair few more plants available. Will keep my eyes open for an aspidespera, but cannot promise... Lots of young shoots on my batchelor's button, though, which I'll be able to offer, and that has been glorious flowering this spring. A mass of golden flowers like showers of pompoms. So heavy in bloom, the branches have bent over with the weight of flowers.
