I read about Tailends on here and looked them up on the Internet at the end of last year. I was really affected by the heartbreaking and yet heartwarming work they do, so I put together a shoebox of goodies for them and posted it out in time for Xmas. It wasn't much - just healthy treats that I thought they might like. I got a lovely thank you letter from them but I really wanted to say thank you to TRPD for flagging up some of the rescues out there that work quietly and tirelessly for animals without much or any recognition XXX Aww that was a lovely thing for you to do.It made me cry,it makes such an enormous differance to these rescue workers to know that they are not alone and that people care. That is why trpd operates,it understands the value and importance of that.Thank you for being so considerate

I sent Tailends a lovely TRPD gold and red elephant collar that I bought in one of the recent chaos and clutter auctions last week - they sent a note back to say that it will be adorning the neck of a new oldie called Amos who is coming in this week They think the collar is lovely (and so did I) so well done whoever made it in the first place!

St Giles would like to say for all the wonderful things donated to them over the last few weeks, including the lovely collar and lead set and the I need a home leads and collars.
The I Need A Home leads and collars will be especially useful as over the next few weeks we have stands at dog shows etc and these will hopefully help our dogs get noticed.
Thanks again
Julie

Amanda from Kerry Greyhounds has been in touch to say a big thankyou for the collars, leads, treats etc. They also loved the fleecy snood for keeping a long hound-neck draught free. It means a lot to them to know that people care. Thanks everyone

I received a pack of collars for 8 dear little puppies today courtesy of yourselves, Selina and Sleepymarie. They are really smart little collars and will go off with the pups when they go to their new homes. Thank you so much for all the hard work you put in to help rescues. So quick too! :-[ Here are some of the pups with their mum. They were found on the edge of a bog in Ireland after the mum had been on the run for 7 months. Precious and pups Thankyou again Jackie EDR Springers (Bucks)

A lovely handwritten letter received from Joan Kenway at Bull Terrier Welfare.
Thanks you so much for sending the gifts for the welfare bullies. I have passed out the treats and toys to a lot of them and of course we all like to see them in new collars and leads, don't we.
We have our welfare fun day on the 5th August as usual at Woodmansterne Village hall Nr Banstead so I shall take more gifts for more rescue dogs.
The little blankets are very useful for puppies and we have had two bitches in this year that have had litters, one of 9 pups and one of 6 pups. We have founds new owners for 9 of the pups so far. We are confident we will find them all permanent loving families.
Thank you once again (I am not very good on the computer, therefore a letter.)
Yours sincerely
Joan Kenway
